Caroline Roloff
General Manager
Caroline is the general manager of Michael's Barkery and has been since our grand opening in 2019. She always wanted to move back to the Charleston area, from Atlanta, and got the opportunity when she heard about the plans for Michael’s Barkery. After meeting Scott and Karen and hearing about their mission, Caroline joined the team. She has been in the pet care industry since 2011. Her career started as a kennel technician, but she moved into management quickly after. She managed different pet care businesses in Gwinnett and Atlanta that featured day care, boarding, training, in-home care, and grooming. She has been grooming since 2014. With her many years of experience Caroline finds great joy in working with many different breeds. Her two dogs, Inka & Nova (Siberian Huskies), and her rabbit, named Bunny, bring her so much hapiness in her personal life.
April Malott
Barkery Head Chef
April has been the Head Chef of Michael's Barkery since the fall of 2022. She is a globetrotter, originally from Texas, who now resides in North Charleston with her husband and son. She has a background in French, Homestyle, Vegan and Gluten-Free Baking/cake decorating. Her love of creating and a heart for Michael's Barkery's mission has brought her to us where she enjoys teaching and laughing with our teammates while showcasing her nutritional knowledge and creativity. She has worked in restaurants and bakeries since 2001. Her favorite things are learning more about Jesus, traveling, cooking, cheesey puns, exploring Charleston with her family and friends, Bollywood films and painting.
